Curtis Cordeiro, a senior History major, was awarded a scholarship by the Qasid Institute of Classical and Modern Standard Arabic in Amman, Jordan to continue his study of Arabic during Summer 2009. Bloomsburg University Students can take two semesters of Courses in Arabic at Bloomsburg University during the regular Fall and Spring semesters; Students can continue their study of Arabic at Qasid in the summer and transfer credit to Bloomsburg University.
